Summary About the position: This position is located at the Community Center. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Force Support Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy. Scheduled tour of duty will require evenings, weekends, and holiday work hours. Responsibilities Typical duties include maintaining various suspense files, regulations, directives, inventory control files and posting changes as required. Assists in compiling correspondences, reports, forms, and other related material. Prepares various reports and other statistical and financial data pertaining to the activity. Provides information regarding operations to the manager. Answers telephone, receives visitors, provides requested information, pick up and distribute office mail and correspondence. Performs cash management and accountability duties. Completes appropriate NAF reports summarizing previous day’s business transactions, and deposits daily cash receipts. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Typing skill is desirable. General knowledge in Microsoft Office business software programs is desirable. Experience which has demonstrated arithmetic aptitude and ability, accuracy and attention to detail; progressively responsible experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody, or other processing of cash and cash items. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
