This Position reports to:

Your Role & Responsibilities

You’re not just looking to operate systems—you’re motivated to shape them. In this key role, you’ll ensure a stable, secure, and standardized OT infrastructure within the production environment. As a central coordinator between IT and Operations, you’ll participate in crafting the digital future of our manufacturing—working closely with Engineering, IT, and Production

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: onsite with 10 home office days a month

  • You develop and maintain the OT topology, including strategy, security, and standardization
  • You are responsible for certificate and key management, as well as update management for operating systems and firmware
  • You design and manage backup, recovery, and remote maintenance solutions, including secure remote access
  • You integrate machine and equipment interfaces into SAP and database systems

What it takes to Run what runs the world

  • Degree in Automation Technology, IT, OT, or a comparable technical qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in OT infrastructure, security, and lifecycle management
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial networks, SCADA, IIoT, and cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443)
  • Experience with SAP interfaces and machine data acquisition
  • Solid understanding of IT/OT convergence and remote access security
  • Skilled analytical thinking and organized approach to tasks
  • Effective communication and ability to coordinate complex projects
  • High level of initiative, precision, and team spirit
  • Methodical approach, ability to adjust to evolving requirements, and a constructive, solution-oriented mindset

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 60.785,90 EUR annual for a full-time position as of May 2025. But we would be happy to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
