We are exploring several areas but with a strong focus on accelerating the digital transformation of NN by supporting the organization in boosting partnerships with innovative players in digital healthcare across several regions.Core focus is to remain forward-looking and showcase strong adaptability. Furthermore, the team is and must be working in a highly agile manner and be able to shift its focus based on rapidly changing opportunities and threats within emerging technologies. Consequentially, you should expect the team structure to be dynamic as well.Behind the titleAs an Open Innovation Analyst you will be joining a team that is continuously scouting and identifying ideas and new solutions from external sources; screen, evaluate and select ideas for future development in line with industry needs at a global scale.Other responsibilities include:Identifying new innovative companies working in the digital healthcare ecosystem.Helping to shape and understand how to collaborate with those companies.Working on projects to support the organisation in the evaluation and piloting of new digital opportunities.Working closely with the Novo Nordisk business units to generate impact in our business with digital through partnering.You should also be comfortable organizing information, gathering learnings and sharing those learnings among the organization.Please note this role is for a maternity cover and has a contract of 7 months. However, after that period, there is a good chance of staying with us, since our department is continuously growing.What we scout forStrong analytical, technical and business skills are needed to navigate the landscape of technologies and translate uncertainties into tangible opportunities for Novo Nordisk.To succeed in this role, we expect you to have most of the following:2-4 years of full-time experience working in venture capital, a startup or innovation unit in the digital healthcare environmentrelevant Master’s degree in technology with relevant innovation management connectionInnovation track record with experience in startup scouting and partnershipsExperience in organizing information and converting it in actionable resultsKnowledge and passion for digital trends and technology, specially in digital healthVivid and curious learner, willing to go the extra milePersonally, you should have excellent communication skills, flexibility, and creativity to link opportunities and drive the maturation from ideas to successful pilots.
