About the job

Based in Brussels, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will be responsible for managing cybersecurity gateway systems (such as firewalls, proxies, email gateway, and VPNs) as well as a variety of endpoint systems (such as anti-virus, data loss protection, host firewalls, and application controls). In addition, you will assist in providing cybersecurity advice and provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to our userbase. For a full list of duties, please review the job description here.

About you

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Network Security Engineer with ideally higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with at least 5 years post-related experience.

A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience in cyber security activities in large, complex (and possibly classified) ICT environments is desired. We also seek expertise in working with cyber security gateway systems (firewalls: Palo Alto and Juniper, proxies, email gateway, VPNs, etc).

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
