Offer DescriptionAt the Valencia Biomedical Research Foundation (Fundación de la Comunidad Valenciana Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe, CIPF), we foster internationalization, professional growth and success of researchers.We are thrilled to announce our MSCA (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) Postdoctoral Fellowship Support Program, designed to provide assistance, resources, and personalized guidance to researchers pursuing MSCA postdoctoral fellowships supervised by CIPF’s researchers.The MSCA CIPF Program participants have an opportunity to develop their fellowship proposal together with senior researchers and support services specialists from CIPF, learn from current MSCA Fellows, and obtain personalized training on the dos – & – don’ts of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship proposals. Our project managers and research host supervisors also work together with the applicants through the writing and fine-tuning of their fellowship proposals until the submission deadline. Program participants keep also in touch with us for other opportunities for collaboration. Selected candidates will receive support with funding opportunities and proposals.We encourage and invite researchers to submit their expression of interest (see MSCA CIPF Program Expression of Interest at the end of this document).MSCA CIPF Program – What We Offer?

• Participating researchers will receive training, personalized support andguidance, both from the supervisors at CIPF and from our specialized projectmanagers at our Research Support Unit.

• We accompany the researchers through the project idea conception, writing,preparation, review and fine-tuning of their fellowship proposals until thesubmission deadline on September 11, 2024.

• If the proposal is granted you will have access to our specialized projectmanagement support services (post-award) through the development of theproject (from start to completion).

• If the proposal is not granted we will assist you in finding additional fundingopportunities (both internal and external), prepare and submit additionalproposals.

• All proposals submitted to MSCA-PF which score 85% or above in the evaluationbut are not funded due to a lack of budget are automatically awarded the Seal ofExcellence. The Seal of Excellence is awarded to project proposals by theEuropean Commission to help these proposals find alternative funding. We areplanning to offer (subject to funding availability) domestic grant opportunities forthe implantation of MSCA PF proposals that have been awarded the Seal ofExcellence. There are also national and local funding opportunities for that and wewill assist you to apply for them.

MSCA CIPF Program – Who Can Apply?

• The MSCA CIPF Program is open to PhD-degree holders who want to apply forthe MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship with CIPF as a host.

• To be eligible for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship, a researcher must hold a PhDdegree, have maximum 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research,measured from the date of award of the doctoral degree, and comply with the“mobility rule” (must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Spainfor more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline(September 11, 2024).

• We are looking for postdoctoral researchers with excellent CV, promisingresearch track record and willing to lead EC projects.

• Applicants are expected to collaborate with our researchers and specializedproject managers in their proposed MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship projects.

• Proposals are evaluated on their research quality, the researcher’s futurecareer prospects, and the support offered by the host organization.

MSCA CIPF Program – How to Participate?

• Before submitting your expression of interest you can also familiarize yourself with our center (see below and visit ). You can also get in touch with our group leaders. The support form a supervisor from CIPF is necessary to be included in our Program.

• You are welcome to propose your own MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship project idea but we also provide a list of predefined topics, project ideas and research fields (see below) that have been identified by some of our group leaders and researchers willing to serve as supervisors.
