We welcome expressions of interest from Postdoctoral Researchers interested in applying for the next Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme (MSCA-PF-2024, deadline September, 11, 2024).We are looking for candidates interested in developing their project in the context of the use of Machine Learning and AI for experimental and computational plasmonics to contribute in current activity related to the implementation of self-driving laboratory.Colloidal Systems Chemistry ( is a research group situated at the Center for Materials Physics. Our focus is on experimental nanochemistry to harness the potential of nanocrystals to develop materials for health (neurotechnologies, biosensing) and energy (artificial photosynthesis). Our research is driven by a motivation to address pressing global societal challenges in the healthcare and energy sectors. We aim to harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and open-source robotics to create a self-driving laboratory ecosystem. This approach will accelerate the development and discovery of emerging nanomaterials. We are currently undergoing a transition in our research methodology. We are moving from a traditional, manual workflow, reliant on human expertise, to an autonomous AI-aided closed-loop experimentation approach. We are integrating existing modular workflows for process optimization. [
