Hobson Prior is seeking a MSAT Process Engineer for a contract role based in Geel. The successful candidate will play a key role in introducing new drug manufacturing processes and will be involved in the technology transfer of small-scale models. This role requires flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend work.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the introduction of new drug manufacturing processes by supporting the transfer of small-scale models from a development lab into the MSAT lab.
• Plan and carry out lab experiments to ensure successful model transfer and create reports of conducted experiments.
• Identify and implement improvements to the small-scale process to increase its alignment with the large-scale process.
• Create scientific/technical study protocols and reports of the small-scale experiments to support investigations and assess the impact on the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• A PhD or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, with relevant experience in process development or a similar function.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, due to the international context of the role.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture processes on lab and/or manufacturing scale; experience with purification processes is a plus.
