Job Description#LI-AP4#LI-HybridWant to elevate your career in Moulding Design, where innovation meets imagination?Be a part of LEGO’s creative journey and inspire the builders of tomorrow!Core ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead innovation by supporting the excellent performance of our External Mould Factory (EMF) in the Mould Design (MD) team as a Manager – Specialist, driving global excellence and ensuring top-tier quality in every design. More specifically, you will:

• Drive improvements and development of base mould designs performed at our suppliers.
• Define and drive process optimization initiatives in the business area (lead time, cost, quality i.e.).
• Overall accountable for specific deliveries and quality for Mould Designs on the external platform, ensuring that scope for the single mould design solution is carried out.
• 3D/2D review approver on Mould designs from the external supplier platform.
• Ensure contractors have the right capabilities and means to deliver constructions according to external standards.
• Ensure takeaways from design errors are documented and updated by external constructors.
• Ensure that quality data is documented, and feedback provided to external contractors using Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM) and Classification (Standard library).
• Ensure robust design in right quality with strong focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Design for Assembly (DFA) in relations to moulds.
• Contribute to the development of the standards for the future moulds based on the company’s strategy.
• Deliver specialist support to the production, mould qualification and other collaboration departments and thus support the overall productivity agenda.

Play your part in our team succeeding!Mould Design has the responsibility of delivering mould specifications for both novelty and reorder moulds designed externally (suppliers located all over the world).MD is creating 200+ specifications throughout the year and in order to control this number of specifications and data we use Siemens NX CAD system together with Teamcenter (PLM) and Classifications (standard library).This position requires a mould designer with experience in mould design and ability to analyze mould design related problems and find technical solutions. The key deliveries of department are: Create new mould designs or update existing mould designs to match our mould design platforms and standards at any given time & Ensure the right level of specification of mould designs, for the LEGO Group to be able to order a new mould or spare parts.Do you have what it takesThe ideal candidate for the Mould Design Manager role is a highly skilled individual with outstanding management abilities and a business owner mentality. Experienced in remote collaboration and excel at fostering positive relationships across diverse, global teams. This candidate is not only a leader in mindset but also a collaborative innovator, committed to developing the capabilities and ensuring the success of their teams and bring:

• Solid experience in plastic injection mould design.
• Solid understanding and experience with CAD systems and 3D design (preferably NX), Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Validated capability to analyze and resolve both team performance and mould design issues, consistently delivering effective technical solutions.
