Duties:
- Deliver outstanding support teachers in the delivery of courses offered within the College by ensuring the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of learning materials, tools, equipment and spaces.
- Ensure the safe use of materials, tools, equipment and spaces by all students and staff.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that Health & Safety is central to the operation of the curriculum area.
Skills/Experience:
- The role will suit an applicant who has practical hands-on. experience of a variety of motor vehicles from industry or through personal interest.
- Methodical approach, attention to detail and self-motivated.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English & Maths or equivalent.
- Hold a minimum of a level 3 qualification in Motor Mechanics.
- An assessors qualification would be desirable.
Ideal Attributes:
- Ideally you should have a good knowledge of the materials, tools and processes involved in the Automotive Industry.
- You will have a keen interest in your industry and be willing to undergo further training and development.
