Offer DescriptionThe “Molecular therapeutic approaches for genetic diseases and cancer” team located in the Oncolille
Institute is looking for a post-doctoral researcher for a 2-year contract. The postdoctoral researcher
will work within a consortium funded by the Vaincre la mucovisdose association. The project aims
to develop therapeutic solutions for patients suffering from genetic disease and in particular from
cystic fibrosis linked to a nonsense mutation.
The recruited person will work within the newly built Oncolille Institute, which has all the equipment
to accomplish her/his project. This institute is located on the Lille University Hospital campus. She/he
will be responsible for characterizing new molecules that correct nonsense mutations in different

– with expertise in analyzing CFTR channel expression
– with solid knowledge in molecular and cellular biology, particularly in aspects of RNA translation
and metabolism
– with experience in working with mice and qualification to carry out animal experimentation
