CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a UK Midstream Mobile Technician to join the team located in the UK.

Working under limited supervision the Mobile Technician will utilise intermediate skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems and equipment and grounds across six sites. They will monitor building system operations and performance and utilise several trade skills such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and plumbing. Must be flexible on schedule.

UK-based covering sites in West London, Purfleet, Avonmouth, Birmingham and Gatwick.

Key Tasks

  • Ensuring compliance with legislative, Client and CBRE health, Safety and environmental requirements.

  • Act as a point of contact with the client teams while working on site and ability to establish strong client relationships.

  • Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repairs, records as required.

  • Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Works with Coordinator/Contract Support to order necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.

  • Utilises client CMMS to manage work orders and track completion, providing status updates and customer feedback.

  • Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems, including support to specialist contractors or project teams for larger installations.

Education

  • Relevant qualifications in electrical/mechanical/HVAC engineering
