Offer DescriptionThe use of big data in agriculture represents a key element for the sustainability of livestock sector. The position is part of the BigFit project and will exploit the datasets made available by the project partners. The topics will concern big data generated by cattle industry. Thanks to the collaboration with the Italian breeder association, the project will make different types of data available: individual and longitudinal phenotypic data on milk production and quality, pedigree information, genomic data from high-density genotyping platforms, animal health data, mid-infrared milk spectra, PLF and climate data.
