Microbial Process Development Technologist USP/DSP, Switzerland

Requirements at a glance:
* 3-6+ years of Pharma industry experience (large molecules)
* 3+ years of GMP experience
* 3-6+ years of MSAT experience (microbial experience)
* 1-2+ years of Tech Transfer
* English necessary
* EU/UK citizenship
Key responsibilities:
* Responsible to lead cross-functional teams tasked with technology transfers (process design and up-scaling) and timely process implementation at manufacturing scale, incl. planning, coordination, implementation, control and project completion of assigned projects
* Act as the interface between the process donor (customer, process development) and operations
* Ensure process scalability and manufacturability for USP (fermentation, primary recovery), DSP (chromatography, ultrafiltration) and end fill steps
* Secure technology transfer success by applying formal processes and tools to manage the transfer of information, process related risks and change control
* Communicate with customers during campaign preparation, execution and closure including daily reporting of batch status and performance
* Responsible for the resolution of process issues that may arise during manufacturing, considering all regulatory requirements
* Lead process validation activities with focus on validation batches at scale (on the process side)
* Involved in continuous improvement of processes and the services provided by the MSAT department
Key requirements:
* Ph.D. or master’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related field)
* Significant professional experience in Process Expert or similar position in clinical and/or commercial biomanufacturing, preferably in Microbial
* Fluency in English, German would be an advantage
* High attention to detail and very good problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Experience in cleaning topics related to Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing in multipurpose facilities (risk assessments, validation) would be an advantage
* EU/UK citizenship
