Valuing our people is what makes us one global team, with our colleagues’ safety at the heart of our organization.How to contribute to our visionFor our Quality Control and Release Management department within the (Operational Technology) Software organization, we are looking for an Architect to join our dedicated and global Metrics & Tools development team.In Quality Control and Release Management we are responsible for the development and establishment of a Quality Governance model for OT Software, for ensuring the delivery of Feature-, Patch and Long-Term-Support releases of our holistic software solution on time and quality and for the enhancement and maintenance of tools, that efficiently support release management and transparent reporting.For the later and as an integral part of our Continuous Delivery transformation in the software organization, we have established a Metrics team to obtain unbiased insights into the solution quality and delivery flow.You will act as the architect and lead SW developer on the “Metrics for OT SW” application, a Microsoft Power BI based internal product, used for tracking i.e., various quality and progress related performance indicators.You will closely collaborate with the Product Owner to refine new requirements and break them down into actionable development tasks.You will lead the team demos for continuous presentation of added value to our stakeholdersYou will guide the development team in terms of code structure and quality principles.You will explore opportunities to improve efficiency, maintainability, stability, and security of the application and make sure, it makes best use of state-of-the-art technologyYou will set the technical direction of the metrics application, but will also support the organization in becoming more data-driven when making decisionsWhat you need to make a differenceYou hold an academic degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, but your passion for working with data is most important.You have experience in applying agile software development practices (e.g. SAFe)You have experience with data extraction, transformation, and analysis – ideally you are fluent in Power Query M, DAX and PythonYou are familiar with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Power PlatformYou have experience designing and using APIsYou have excellent debugging skills – and good troubleshooting skills in generalYou are proactive, ‘hands-on’ and can get things done in a sustainable mannerYou are self-driven and naturally take initiative when exploring new groundYou understand how to present complex things in a simple way to stakeholders with different backgroundsYou have strong communication and people skills.You have excellent English verbal and written language skills – a basic understanding of Danish is advantageousIn case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.In return of your commitment we offer you…Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come.We are a global team of diverse colleagues who share an enthusiasm for renewable energy and have a culture of trust and empowerment to make our own ideas a reality.We focus on personal and professional development to grow internally within our organization.Siemens Gamesa offers a wide variety of benefits such as flexible working hours as well as home-office possibility for many colleagues, employer-funded pension, attractive remuneration package (fixed/variable) and local benefits such as subsidized lunch, employee discounts and much more.Empowering our peopleHow do you imagine the future?Our global team is on the front line of tackling the climate crisis, reducing carbon emissions – the biggest challenge we face.Other informationFor further information regarding the recruitment process, please contact recruiting team via Nisha Deshpande on [email protected].
