The Role…At Soho House, the Member Events Manager is responsible for creating special moments and continuing the “magic” within our Houses and physical locations. They will be programming, planning and executing innovative events for the House, using Soho House’s guiding principle of curating creative events for a community. Soho House events are designed to inspire members and connect the community. The Member Events Manager will be responsible for curating and producing regular memorable member events, all to the highest creative standards. The programming and its success can be measured by retaining and gaining new members.A successful Member Events Manager is an organised storyteller with their finger on the pulse with for cultural trends as well as talent and brings fresh ideas to the table that continues to engage members, guests and staff.The Member Events Manager will report into the Head of Membership & Communications, CopenhagenAn essential part of the job is being available on a flexible schedule and being willing to work outside “office hours”. For example, nights, weekends and holidays (as needed and when applicable). This may or may not be required on a regular basis but is mandatory when neededWe welcome junior applicants with the will and wish to develop and grow.Your responsibilities are…As our Member Events Manager you will be a vital part of connecting our membership community through local story telling achieved by creating diverse and innovative experiences.You are at the core of creating connections between our members through allowing them to participate and host events – on the other side you need to structure and track costs and planning of events to fit budget and targets.Furthermore you will:
You work within hospitality and will have a regular presence on the floor working alongside our Membership Managers to answer any member needs or inquiries.Who are you…We are looking for someone who is influential and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. For this role you need to thrive within the creative industries and bringing people together.The role requires an individual who is a good communicator and problem solver as you will work with many different stakeholders on simultaneous projects and events.
