The Role

We are currently seeking a Meetings and Events Sales Agent to join our team. Within the role you will be responsible for achieving your individual sales targets and contributing to the overall sales budget of our Hall revenue generating departments.

Your key responsibilities will include researching and sourcing new business, managing existing client accounts, preparing client quotes, managing diaries, and converting sales leads. You will identify and target potential clients for meetings, events, and celebrations through various channels such as research, client calling, networking, and referrals.

To be successful in this role, you must have exceptional customer service skills in order to provide timely assistance to clients and ensure their expectations are met. You will also be responsible for developing customised proposals and negotiating quote terms to secure the event and business.

Additionally, you will be required to maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure event satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Coordinating with the event operations team to ensure accurate event information is provided is also a vital aspect of this role.

To excel in this position, you must have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively utilise CRM software.
