Our systems guarantee optimal communication, regardless of extreme conditions enabling informed and critical decision-making.About the teamThe software architect is the liaison between the software architecture team and the multi-disciplinary development scrum-teams. Together we expand our system used for any communication in military vehicles by our customers. Think Big, Make it Happen and Together are the values in these teams to guide us on our journey and building a future we can all trustAbout your future jobIn this function, you define the architectural part of the new functionality. You align with peer-architects and cooperate with the product owner to identify the stories for the development team.During implementation you are supporting/facilitating the development team and remain responsible for the architecture.This function is interesting for you when you would like to:

• work in a professional mature and skilled software development organization.
• work both in a team and standalone on challenging topics.
• strengthen and show your competencies in e.g. Model Based System/ Software Engineering, OO, C++, (Embedded) Linux.

The main tasks are:

• Design architectural solution
• Define Stories for the team
• Estimate software development work
• Optional: Software implementation

Why you’d be a good match

• BSc or MSc. In technical area preferable Computer Science/Embedded Systems
• Track record in software architecture preferable embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Rhapsody is a pre
• Experience in either Linux, C++, Python, Java
• Communication skills (e.g. technical and management level)

Security Clearance

• VGB – AIVD-B screening required (which we initiate & facilitate).
