If so, join us as MSL dedicated to Diabetes and Obesity.The positionWith the aim to position Novo Nordisk as the preferred partner in Diabetes & Obesity, as Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) you will lead the scientific dialogue with relevant KOLs, HCPs and health care professionals. Based on the medical portfolio strategy and in cross functional collaboration with other internal stakeholders (Medical Managers, Clinical Operations, Sales, Market Access and Marketing), you will manage your territory to maximize your region’s results.Some of your responsibilities will be to:Plan (analysis & diagnosis) and execute the Regional Medical Plan (KOL Engagement, Medical Education, Clinical Activities, Evidence generation and publication, Insights for Strategy, Clinical Care Pathways) aligned with the Regional Customer Team, with high contribution to the Regional Customer Plan.Build effective and impactful relationships with KOLs & Scientific AssociationsOptimise ad-hoc opportunities & lead initiatives for relevant academic and professional collaboration in the interests of the current and future medical needs and developing project proposals in support of medical portfolio strategy with a business mindset.Provide high quality medical and scientific education and training to internal & external customers.Facilitate local Advisory Boards and provide academic contribution before and during the meeting.Site Identification for clinical trials, assessment of feasibility and patient recruitment strategies through KOLs& site relationships.QualificationsUniversity degree in Life Science Bachelor (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Psychology, Veterinary…).At least 2 years of independent experience as Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) or Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in diabetes and/or obesity.Good track record of participating and leading cross-functional projects in collaboration with other departments such as sales, market access…Experience in the assigned territory and engaging with Endocrinologist, Internal Medicine and/or nephrologists will be an advantage.Fluent in Spanish and in English.Availability to travel.As a person, you have excellent communication and negotiation skills. You enjoy working in teams and encourage the collaboration across multiple departments. You dare to make decisions and work autonomously. You have a strong scientific mindset in combination with business acumen, including results orientation and strategical view.About the DepartmentCMR (Clinical, Medical & Regulatory) department has employees across multiple teams such as Clinical Research, CMR effectiveness, Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Safety. Medical Affairs is the area responsible for timely and credible scientific dialogue. The Regional Medical Advisor belongs to a highly motivated team with a good understanding of Medical Affairs combined with a business mindset.
