The position
As our Medical Manager DIA, you will be leading integrated strategic medical & brand planning and execution of all medical activities and projects within Diabetology therapeutic area. You will be taking strategic medical objectives into account, short-medium- long term business needs.
Your main accountabilities will be:
-Manage the team of medical employees within Diabetology medical unit
-Working with regional team: giving insights to regional projects, create project engaging with regional/global colleagues
-Represent Novo Nordisk in interactions with external bodies and building relationships in the medical community
-Provide state of the art medical and clinical development expertise to drive company message delivery to key stakeholders
-Provide medical input to marketing strategies (strategies & operating plans, POA development), supporting market access in creating reimbursement dossier and driving medical to medical communication on a regular basis
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you need to have:
-Medical degree or equivalent from a recognized Medical School as Healthcare Professional, Pharmacist, or have other medical oriented education
-Min. 5 year of experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry, or 3 years in a similar position and at least 5 years in total within medical affairs
-Leaderships skills
-Hold experience in pharmaceutical business on different positions within medical department: medical affairs, , medical information, clinical medical manager, RMA/MSL manager
-Therapeutic knowledge as applicable demonstrated understanding of diseases and treatments
-Knowledge of pharma Rx regulations
-IT proficiency: MS Office
-Fluent English, Polish verbal and writing skills
-Valid driving license B
-Digital skills

Additionally, you must be team-oriented with a high degree of flexibility, able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A strong focus on compliance, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to quickly adjust to new situations in a fast-paced, evolving environment are essential. The ideal candidate will also be able to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and act as an ambassador for NN values.
About The Department
The Clinical, Medical and Regulatory (CMR) department at Novo Nordisk is one of the most diverse and collaborative groups within the organization. From health-care-provider interactions and developing and implementing regulatory strategies, providing medical education, collecting data to support real world experience and support new product development through their life cycle. It provides clinical development, regulatory compliance, and it is responsible for medical support of marketed and non-marketed products of high quality.
