• Job-Type:    Full Time (40 Hours/week)

SUMMARY

Candidate needed to serve as a Medical Analyst Technician in the Public Health Command-Europe (PHCE) United States Army Garrison (USAG) Kaiserslautern Industrial Hygiene Program Office (IHPO) for assisting in translating and interpreting Host Nation IH Kaiserslautern regulations and guidance.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum of five years’ experience performing the administrative duties aligned with this position.

• Able to complete the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS-IH) training course in the first four months of employment.

• Able to provide insight to the regulation and guidance intentions and support forming best business practices to address both US and Host Nation protocols.

• Must be fluent in written and oral in both English and German

THE DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Able to author employee notification letters for exposures to hazardous substances and distribute them to employees and supervisors.

• Manage the Troop Motor Pool (TMP) vehicles leased to the IH Program offices and coordinate TMP program management activities with PHCE TMP Fleet Managers.

• Manage the IH MilSuite website to ensure all applicable documents and files are kept current.

• Generate business object reports from DOEHRS-IH when needed.

• Assignments cover medical analysis and solutions to complex operations applying methods outlined by supervisor.

• Assist in administratively supporting Industrial Hygiene (IH) reports to identify and evaluate health hazards and potential lead hazards. Support to publishing the survey will include peer reviews and ensuring reports meet quality control and assurance requirements.

• Review reports and author, publish, distribute Employee Exposure Notification letters to applicable organizations’ employees and leadership.

• Manage the IH Program’s MilSuite website to ensure all applicable documents and files are kept current. Must ensure all published DOEHRS-IH Survey reports are archived in MilSuite.

• Assist in translating and interpreting Host Nation IH regulations and guidance. The contractor will provide insight to the regulation and guidance intentions and support forming best business practices to address both US and Host Nation protocols.

• Operate government electronic equipment, computers and computing systems.

• May operate a government troop motor pool (TMP) vehicle such as a car/pickup truck/step van.
