As our new Medical Advisor, you will report to the Medical Manager and you will provide high-quality medical and scientific support for Obesity, to external healthcare professionals, local opinion leaders and customers across Poland, as well as Novo Nordisk staff. The main outcome of the job is to ensure HCPs are aware of and understand the scientific basis for and clinical usefulness of Novo Nordisk compounds.The position is placed in the Warsaw office.Your key responsibilities will be:Provide the internal and external medical expertise related to the products in the area of responsibility.Ensure medical/product training for newcomers/commercial colleagues/Field Forces, approve promotional materials, present study data, registered products data, pipe-lineReview and provide input to regulatory dossier.Prepare strategy against competitors’ materials, publications, medical input to marketing strategies (strategies & operating plans) and encourage the development of scientific projects in accordance with Investigator Initiated Research PolicyDrive medical to medical communication on a frequent basis, discussion with KOLs regarding compounds in early development as required.You will cultivate and maintain relations with customers, selected local opinion leaders and major institutions in the local health care sector building local credibility personally and on behalf of Novo Nordisk.Qualifications
You need to be fluent in both English and Polish and have a valid driving licence.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:Higher Academic Degree preferably in Health Science, Medicine, or similar disciplines.Minimum of 1-year related experience as Medical Advisor within pharmaceutical industry (Rx).Experience in cardiology or obesity therapeutic areas will be nice to have.High interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.The ability to establish and maintain good long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. KOLs).We are looking for someone with proactive and strategic mindset. On top of what we would expect, you must be able to present scientific data in front of the medical audience and interpretate of clinical trial results.About the department
