What You Can Expect

Assist in the planning, execution and reconciliation of logistic organization of events whether virtual, physical, or hybrid, sales & marketing meetings and congresses.

How You’ll Create Impact

• Support the development of meeting goals & objectives under the MedTech Europe guidelines and Zimmer Biomet Corporate Compliance program.

• Assist in planning for events and booth development for congresses

• Preparation of budgets (preliminary, working and final meeting budgets)

• Ensure outcome of the meetings, as well as corporate events and congresses, align to Corporate Goals & Objectives.

• Develop event materials, manage food & beverage (F&B), Time & Events schedules (T&E), Arrival & Departures manifests (A&D manifests), Banquet & Event Orders (BEOs), housing lists and confirmation notices, HCPs process related requirements both internal and external.

• Effectively interface with a diverse group of internal and external personnel to include senior management, distributors, sales associates, customers, travel office and vendors.

• Manage post-event duties including invoice reconciliation, charge backs and expense analysis

S Special expertise

  • Must be proficient with commonly used software.

  • Ability to establish assigned programs to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the organization’s efforts in achieving strategic goals

  • Preferable knowledge of the Cvent system

L Languages

  • Fluency in English is essential, with advanced skills in French and Dutch strongly preferred

Your Background

Education

  • Degree in commercial education or commercial apprenticeship preferably in the meeting and congress industry or other commercial industry or similar or other non-US equivalent certification.

P Professional experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ coordinator experience in meeting and congress planning industry. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

P Personal skills requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly in English

  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills

  • Commitment to customer service and team-oriented management

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and influence all Zimmer Biomet customers, both internal and external

  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines

  • Must be enterprising, diplomatic, and proactive at solving problems

  • Documented successful track record in an education management role

Travel Expectations

  • Max 2x per year
