In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and ensuring the successful completion of the mechanical scope of work, in line with project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily work of the mechanical installation crew, including technicians, fitters, and welders;

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to develop detailed installation and maintenance plans;

• Ensure the correct installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment, piping systems, and related components;

• Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement mitigation measures to keep the mechanical works on schedule;

• Perform quality inspections and sign-offs at key milestones to verify compliance with project requirements;

• Liaise with the project management team, clients, and other stakeholders to address technical issues and facilitate seamless integration of the mechanical work;

• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations;

• Mentor and develop the skills of the mechanical crew, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment;

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Foreman in the industrial, oil & gas, or construction sectors;

• Proven track record of successfully managing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems;

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents;

• Hands-on experience with a wide range of mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, compressors, and piping systems;

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment;

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams;

• Fluency in English is required;

• Availability to work on-site in Rotterdam for the duration of the contract;

Employment Conditions:

• 6-month contract with the possibility of extension;
