Our client, a prominent player in advanced materials technology located in Geel, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join their Corporate Research & Development department. You will be the expert and work together with cross-functional teams so you can use your technical background and feel valued in your role.

Responsibilities:

– Conducting studies and engineering designs for projects under the guidance of an engineering project manager

– Leading the design of systems from inception to completion, including design, drawing, ordering, realization, and site follow-up

– Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and file handling

Requirements:

– Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics or Electromechanics or equivalent experience

– Proficiency in mechanical design using Inventor and Plant 3D

– Knowledge of Autodesk Vault and CNC experience will be advantageous

– Fluency in English and Dutch languages
