Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.Partner with the bestAs a Materials Forecasting Specialist, you will apply modern advanced analytics methods (predictive modeling, Machine Learning, and optimization) to develop Forecasting models for the overall business strategy. You will manage and be responsible of the selection of strategic stock with reorder point for Service inventory organization.In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a comprehensive long-term spare part forecast of all components under the assigned product line.
  • Developing strategic stock with reorder point inventory management strategy.
  • Determining and applying appropriate optimization methodologies to balance the trade off between service level and inventory.
  • Applying predictive analytics, machine learning, simulation, and optimization techniques to generate forecast for supply chain and customer strategy development.
  • Developing process that meets business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, contribute to the overall business strategy.

Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related field or proven experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Show experience and accountability for complex tasks and/or projects.
  • Display experience/knowledge in Supply Chain, Production Planning or Demand Planning
  • Show experience with Time Series/Forecasting Modeling.
  • Have strong coding skills in the dominant scripting language (such as Python).
  • Be proficient knowledge with applying modern advanced analytics methods (predictive modeling, Machine Learning, and optimization).
  • Be fluent both in Italian and English (oral and written)
  • Hold a EU work permit
