Marketplace Partnerships Manager – BeneluxMollie is on a mission to become the most loved Payment Service Provider in Europe. Partnerships, including Marketplaces, are a critical part of our commercial strategy and plan towards profitable growth. We are looking for a strong, commercially driven individual to drive the expansion of our footprint in the Marketplaces segment in the Benelux.You’ll be based out of Mollie’s HQ in Amsterdam. You’ll be building and closing relationships with Marketplaces in the Benelux. You are data driven and can independently manage a pipeline of marketplaces opportunities, solving for short term impact while executing the long term strategy. These marketplace partnerships are predominantly focused on embedded payment solutions and simplifying complex processes.You’ll work closely with the local and central teams and functions. Being part of our global Marketplaces team, you’ll report to the Lead Marketplaces and are part of the Global Partnerships team, consisting of 35+ FTE.What you will be doing:Mapping of the marketplace ecosystem in the Benelux to identify opportunities, and reaching out to prospective partnersTakeover ownership of existing Benelux upmarket marketplace opportunitiesManage complex consultative sales cycles including participation in RFPs and internal stakeholder managementTake full responsibility for guiding marketplaces from first contact through to being operational and liveContribute to, and execute Mollie’s upmarket strategyBuild and deliver go-to-market strategies for the Marketplaces channel, working with local leadership to ensure alignment with the wider commercial strategy in each region (across Sales, Marketing etc.)Represent Mollie at industry events across Europe, in order to expand Mollie’s positioning as a leader in the Marketplace payments spaceWhat you will bring:5+ years work experience in Business Development or Partnerships in either a Fintech, SaaS or Tech companySignificant experience in managing a sales pipeline that consists of both larger strategic business development deals and smaller / high velocity deals as well as a track record in managing deals and negotiations first-handCross-functional experience working with various internal and external stakeholders in an international environmentA strategic and analytical mindset and strong problem solving and communication skillsAbility to connect easily with potential partners and build trust-based relationshipsFluency (written and verbal) in Dutch and EnglishPreferred: previous experience in eCommerce or Marketplace models
