On the Uber Eats Regional Operations team, we serve the business and local markets by partnering with Product, Local Operations, and Cross-functional partners to build and scale impactful Products and data-driven Processes across EMEA.You will work on the Marketplace Health team engaging in Processes, Projects and Products related to Uber Direct, Refunds & Appeasements and Eater/Merchant Fraud.Uber Direct is our ‘Delivery-as-a-service’ product which enables restaurants, grocers and retailers to unlock last mile delivery for their customers via their app or website by utilizing our network of delivery partners. It will be a key priority as we work in enhancing Fraud capabilities and Refund Policies across EMEA.What You’ll Do

  • Build and launch processes: create new and scale existing processes across the EMEA Region to minimize fraud on the platform.
  • Analytics & data-driven decision making: use advanced data analytics to measure performance and build detailed dashboards, investigate and deep dive into possible areas of improvements in ongoing or new products and support policies.
  • Data analysis: design, execute and automate processes to identify, diagnose and mitigate fraudulent behavior from Eaters and Merchants. You will autonomously build your own analyses and dashboards to measure your projects’ success.
  • Automation: work with automation specialists to create, maintain and improve the reliability of processes that power UberEats Marketplace.
  • Ensure the interface between EMEA Operations and Product teams: work with Marketplace and Risk Product teams to experiment and roll out products in EMEA (gathering and structuring product requests, deploying new product features, measuring impact, tracking & follow-up on bugs).
  • Stakeholder management & collaboration: you will work with a diverse set of partners, adding new value to local country teams while collaborating with cross-functional teams in the EMEA (other Regional Operations teams, Legal, Customer Support) or other regions (product and engineering teams, central risk team).

Basic Qualifications

  • Highly motivated and willing to take ownership of challenges.
  • At least 3 years of professional work experience in a related field (consulting, operations, strategy, analytics, tech, investment banking)
  • Strong analytical skills, willingness to develop in Business Acumen, Stakeholder Management and broader communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills with an ability to structure the challenges we face into concrete action plans.
  • Stakeholder management skills with experience working in diverse, cross-functional, and global environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced analytical skills in SQL and Excel/GSheets. Exposure or interest in Python is a plus!
  • Experience working cross functionally with Data Science, Product and Operation teams.
  • Shown project management skills with an ability to set up and manage processes or projects from the ground up.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans and clearly present data to various audiences.
  • Experience in leading process and performance improvements by leveraging data and insights.
