Job description
Successfully implement and maintain global Marketing and Communications policies, processes and practices so that KONE’s short and long-term business objectives comply with regulations and standards, and build KONE brand and protect the organization’s reputation.Some or all of following tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the marketing communications manager/director to develop a marketing and communications strategy that is based on global marketing strategies and local business requirements and consistent with KONE’s overall mission, vision, and long-term objectives.
- Localize global marketing material and activities
- Ensure KONE’s brand guidelines are implemented and KONE key messages are made visible in all marketing material
- Co-operate and share best practices with KONE global team and other marketing and communications professionals within KONE.
- Excellent understanding of using different marketing and communications tools and channels for effective communication. Applying existing global processes, channels and tools when applicable.
- Implement internal and external events according to global guidelines and utilize global concepts and tools.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies (for example printing houses, event agencies, advertising agencies, pr agencies, graphic designers)
Marketing communications and brand management
- Create demand, support sales and increase customer loyalty by implementing and following-up marketing activities (e.g. direct mailing, events, advertising, web marketing) for different market and customer segments
Internal communications
- Support KONE’s objectives through internal communications: communicating company vision and strategic development programs to employees.
- Applying internal communication processes and practices to convey messages and engage employees within the front line.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of communication methods and tools to carry out change management strategies.
- Demonstrate skills in written and oral communication and the ability to obtain information, critique, edit and communicate effectively. Good editorial and proof-reading skills in regard to format and style.
Business intelligence
- Support in market, competitor and customer intelligence activities: Monitor, analyse, and evaluate local market trends and segments, customer/influencer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify market opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
External communications
- Support stakeholder relationships (“stakeholders” are all organizations and individuals, who has direct and/or indirect impact to KONE’s success; for example media, 3rd party organizations, state/commune decision makers, students, opinion leaders).
