The position
As a Marketing Manager for Obesity, you will lead a cross-functional team to implement the obesity strategy, ensuring seamless execution across patient journey steps, and driving business growth. The position involves strategic coordination with global teams, brand management, and stakeholder engagement to enhance the impact of Novo Nordisk in the obesity market.
You will carry out the following tasks:
-Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans, including market segmentation, competitor analysis, and scenario planning.
-Leverage customer insights from both patients and healthcare professionals to inform tactical plans.
-Ensure the execution of marketing plans, coordinating with senior management on challenges, risks, and outcomes.
-Communicate brand strategy and key messages to align organizational understanding with patient journey leverage points.
-Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and develop healthcare partnerships to drive business growth.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following qualifications:
-Graduate in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related field.
-Minimum 3 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer goods industries, with a proven track record in customer-facing roles, and successful development and execution of market access launches.
-Proficient in evaluating return on investment for marketing tactics, assessing new sales channels across private, public, online, and offline sectors, and possessing strong market research understanding.
-Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with experience in report writing, presentation creation, and tailoring content to specific audiences.
-Team management experience and knowledge of the obesity market is a plus.
About the department
The obesity unit in Romania is responsible for building the relevant strategies related to addressing one of the most prevalent chronic diseases in the country with more than 25% among adults, where we are concerned with helping people living with obesity across their treatment journey, also working with a wide range of stakeholders to develop this important therapy area and to prepare the market for more future innovative treatments/solutions of Obesity that will help to change the lives of millions living with Obesity in Romania.
