Marketing Intern
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Intern to join our team within the Philips Personal Health product portfolio based in Milan, Italy. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in both media and PR, as well as trade marketing analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Media and PR Support
- Assist in coordinating media and PR/influencer marketing campaigns focusing on execution of press office campaigns, seedings to journalists and KOL, events and Influencer contents.
- Prepare compelling PowerPoint presentations and reports on a regular basis to share with internal/external departments.
- Manage and optimize editorial contents and social media performance: Philips owned account optimization, copywriting and posting (Instagram and Facebook).
- Work with the IIG (Marketing, TSM) and Western Europe team to ensure and optimize the campaigns in the individual categories. Collaborate with influencers, journalists and local agencies to create long partnerships.
- Support the execution of local events and partnership, managing external and internal stakeholders, to ensure everything is on track in terms of project management.
Trade Marketing Support
- Work closely with our Shopper Excellence Manager on trade marketing analytics (e.g. flyers, assortment), providing key insights to Sales team guiding both assortment and promotion strategies.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including in-store excellence, product availability, share of shelf, and online excellence monitoring Philips online and offline performance.
- Utilize Excel and Power Point to analyze and report data, providing insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Support Shopper Excellence Manager in day-by-day relationship with Western Europe Shopper Excellence Team.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Italian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Copywriting skills and strong creative spirit.
- Passionate and willing to contribute innovative ideas and collaborate with different levels of the organization (locally and internationally).
- Positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong analytical skills with a very good proficiency in Excel and Power Point for data analysis and reporting.
- A University degree in economics, business, or related fields.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid model with at least two days per week in the office.
