Additional information can be found at: www.chubb.com .In the Nordics we are an organization of 140 employees.Chubb is looking for maternity cover for our Marketing and Communications Manager, for a person that will proactively support and lead the development and implementation of both internal communications and external marketing and communications activities for the Nordic countries, based in Stockholm or Copenhagen.As the Nordic region is part of the Northern region, which includes Benelux, you will work closely with your colleague in Benelux as well as the management teams for the Nordics and Northern region in addition to product and service business leaders to proactively define, lead and support the local plans to drive business growth and retention. The Northern region comprises the Nordic countries Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway as well as the Benelux region (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg) with a total of eight offices.You will also work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications Northern, Eastern and Central Regions to align local plans and overall regional EMEA plans. You will also be an active member of the Marketing and Communications team in EMEA.Chubb serves businesses ranging SME, middle-market, and large corporates with e.g. property, casualty, financial lines, cyber, accident & health, consumer insurance as well as multinational and risk engineering services. We are an intermediated business working closely with our broker partners. You will support all customer segments and product lines and services.In this role you are also responsible for external communications, working in close collaboration with the regional media relations team to manage Chubb’s presence in the media and at public speaking engagements.You will also proactively deliver and support effective internal communications ensuring employees are aware of the business strategy, the key priorities and how they contribute to delivering on the business objectives.The role reports to the Head of Marketing and Communications Northern, Eastern and Central regions. You will be part of the EMEA marketing and communications team comprising around 40 colleagues in total. You will be able to draw on specialist marketing and communications expertise and support from the regional teams in EMEA and global team in North America to help you deliver on your plans.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with the business areas you support, to understand growth objectives, business priorities, market trends and broker requirements and to be the main point of contact. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on customer and broker issues, market trends and competitor activity.
2. External Communications
- Write, edit and proofread copy for all channels: email, website, social media, events, podcasts, videos, promotional materials and insight pieces.
- Co-ordinating with the regional media relations manager develop PR, and social media programmes/campaigns including external announcements and thought leadership activity in support of business activities.
- Manage content and ensure timely updates of chubb.com for the Nordics country page.
- Fully understand and follow the approval process for external communications and ensure compliance with the company’s external communications policies.
3. Internal Communications
- Develop internal communications plan for the Nordic cluster and in cooperation with the Benelux for the Northern region.
- Collaborate with the local business, HR, and the regional internal communications manager on change initiatives, embedding Chubb culture and driving employee engagement.
- Manage implementation of regional and global internal communication programs for the Nordic cluster.
4. Marketing/Events
- Manage and support implementation of regional and global campaigns.
- Manage broker and client communications and engagement strategies (in co-operation with Benelux team member).
- Organise and support Chubb flagship events, industry trade shows and sponsored events.
5. Brand
- Represent the Chubb brand ensuring consistency and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Support that all relevant Marketing & Communications assets are uploaded and maintained on our digital asset management tool – Chubb Brand Central.
6. Support delivery of the marketing and communications plan and budget, maximizing value for money.
- Work with Legal & Compliance to ensure guidelines are complied with.
- Work with procurement to ensure appropriate supplier contracts are in place.

- experience in leading, managing and delivering external and internal communications, in a corporate
environment
- proven ability and experience in developing and supporting marketing and communications plans based on
business plans and audiences
- proven track record of providing communication counsel to business partners
- experience in managing company intranet and extranet
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong analytical skills
- Commercial acumen and client (internal and external) focus
- Knowledge and experience of using Social Media experience in both online and offline marketing and
communications strategies and tactics
- solid experience in applying communication guidelines
- ability to work with data, manage with metrics and insights; apply technology as appropriate to drive awareness
and measure success
- Experience and appetite for in person and virtual events organization
- solid experience in applying brand guidelines with a good sense for presentation, layout and design
- be familiar with tools like Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, AEM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, digital news and
asset management platforms, Swoogo, etc.
