Marketing Communications Manager EMEA

Responsibilities

  • Marcom Activities : Develop and execute high-quality marketing communications for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This includes managing digital activities such as email and web campaigns via MS Dynamics, paid advertising, online events, PR, tradeshows, seminars, and social media—all within budget and on schedule.

  • Strategic Collaboration : Work closely with Technical Marketing, Partner Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Digital Marketing teams to craft and implement global communication strategies tailored to regional objectives.

  • Product Launches : Develop integrated launch and sustaining plans for new products, software, and services in collaboration with key partners.

  • Budget Management : Accurately forecast budgets and track costs monthly.

  • Metrics Tracking : Monitor and analyze metrics related to assigned programs and tactics.

  • Cross-Functional Support : Interface with internal and external organizations to support the development and execution of activities.

  • Agency and Stakeholder Management : Oversee relationships and deliverables from agencies, product line marketing, sales teams, editors, and telemarketing agents.

The Team

Our dynamic and international EMEA marketing team boasts members from 11 nationalities, collaborating across 7 locations in 5 countries. Engage daily with colleagues from Europe, India, and the United States, leveraging the Fortive business tools essential for continuous improvement across all operating companies in the Group, and enhance your career growth.

You’ll report to the Head of Marketing Communications and can be based in the UK, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, or the Nordic countries. The role offers flexibility with remote or hybrid options depending on your location.

Experience

  • Preferred Qualifications : A dual technical and marketing degree.

  • Experience : At least 2-3 years in international B2B marketing communications, with a strong emphasis on digital and social media to drive awareness and demand.

  • Agency Collaboration : Proven experience working with agencies.

  • Effective Presentation Skills: Capable of presenting confidently to Sales colleagues and Leadership teams.

  • Autonomous Work Ethic: Ability to work independently towards set targets, ensuring project success.

  • Results-Oriented: Maintain a continuous improvement and learning mindset.

  • Matrix Organization Proficiency: Work effectively with confidence and enthusiasm in a matrix organization within a high-paced environment.

  • Team Player: Strong collaborative skills to work seamlessly with the team.

  • Advanced English Proficiency: Native English speaker level with strong creative content writing and repurposing skills.

  • Willingness to Travel: Open to occasional travel within Europe.
