Responsibilities:

-Become an expert on JDS’s competitors’ strategies and commercial performance. Read, listen to and synthesize to all major competitors’ annual reports, quarterly reports, investor calls, investor presentations, etc.. Summarize the major points from this content and the strategic implications to the business and communicate to the organization.
-Develop competitor dossiers (product roadmaps, regional share, SWOT analysis, etc.)
-Track competitive new products, service and digital offering launches over time
-Promptly and reliably deliver accurate ad hoc research reporting and insights to support key planning functions
-Support routine analytics for new product development and business cases. Perform SWOT and assessment of future alternative therapies and novel solutions to focus conditions (e.g., trend analysis, secondary market research, customer profiles or segmentation, competitive intelligence, and scenario analysis)
-Support new product market opportunity forecasts with market size and growth
-Run analysis for various internal stakeholders on an ad hoc basis supporting market opportunity sizing and routine and descriptive market analytics
-Streamline analysis and reporting using AI and automation tools
-Share relevant market insights on an ongoing basis to stakeholders
-Build tools and techniques for gaining and maintaining insights (e.g., Intranet, Knowledge Mgmt)
 

Requirements:

-Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5-8
-B.S. Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Market Research, Statistics / Statistical Analysis or related analytical or technical discipline with extensive course-work in market research
-Fluency in English required
-Strong English writing skills
-Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, visualizations, trending, modeling, formulas, etc.)
-Medical device or healthcare experience required
-Prefer experience in market research, marketing analytics, or management consulting
-Experience with AI and automation software
-Strong proficiency in Excel and Qualtrics and prefer experience with data visualization tools including PowerBI
-Ability to leverage data, analytics, and research to develop actionable insights & recommendations
