The purpose of this role is to provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met. They are viewed as a trusted advisor to client, understands and articulates client business insights and leverages to contribute ways to move business forward, lead and monitor the day-to-day activities; proactively identify new business building insights and opportunities, manage, motivate and develop their team; work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client’s business.

Job Description:

We are a high-growth subscription-based start-up aiming to grow our digital platform across global markets. Our focus is on digital solutions that enhance customer engagement and growth through strategic partnerships with local market leaders. As part of our expansion strategy, we are looking for an experienced Deployment and Launch Director to lead the market activation of our digital platform and partner marketing plans.

The Role

As the Deployment and Launch Director you will oversee the successful market activations of our digital platform, including full transaction of the site for each new market and customization of our Leads as a Service model for local market partners as we rollout globally.

You will report into and collaborate with senior leadership and support our market partners to plan and launch partner marketing campaigns through multiple channels such as email, web, sales teams, and digital marketing, comms, social media and events.

You will blend strategic vision, efficient operational delivery and solid experience in digital product deployment and partner marketing campaigns across diverse markets.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Deployment Leadership:
  • You will lead the strategic planning and delivery of market activation of the digital platform, including ensuring full transactional functionality and customization for Leads as a Service with local market partners
  • Partner Marketing Campaign Oversight:
  • You will direct the development of partner marketing campaigns that support market activation, including email, web, communications, and digital marketing campaigns
  • Collaboration and Understanding:
  • You will coordinate with teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and data, to ensure the deployment and launch are aligned and implemented
  • Programme Governance and Reporting:
  • You will establish a governance framework to monitor deployment launch progress and risks assessment across multiple markets
  • Performance Management and Optimization:
  • You will set and track metrics for deployment and launch success, including market reach, customer acquisition, partner engagement, and campaign effectiveness
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
  • You will find and address potential risks and challenges related to deployment and launch activities
  • Change Management and Operational Readiness:
  • You will lead change management efforts to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of the digital platform in new markets
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • You will lead a team of deployment and launch managers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to achieve performance and professional growth
  • Digital Marketing and SEO Strategy:
  • You will ensure partner digital marketing activities, including paid and organic campaigns, are optimised for search engine visibility and customer engagement

Qualifications

  • Education: You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience: You will have 8-10 years plus of experience in deployment management, digital marketing, or partner management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Experience managing large-scale, multi-market deployments and launches in a digital or technology-focused environment is required
  • Project Management Expertise: You will have experience of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe) and tools. Demonstrated experience managing complex, projects with multiple team members
  • Marketing Experience: You will have experience in digital marketing, including campaign strategy, SEO, and partner marketing
  • Technical skills: You will be familiar with digital platforms, SaaS products, CRM systems, and marketing technologies. You will collaborate with technical teams to understand product requirements and deployment processes
  • Communication: You will explain complex concepts to diverse audiences, including senior executives and external partners.
  • Leadership and Team Management: You will lead a performing team in an Agile environment, developing team members
  • Analysis: You will focus on data-driven decision-making for solutioning
  • Flexibility: You will adapt to a versatile working environment where project requirements can change
