Your new role

As our Market Access Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg, you’ll be at the forefront of securing favourable market access conditions that bring innovative treatments to patients. This is a strategic role where your negotiations and insights directly impact product availability and patient outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

-Developing and implementing market access strategies aligned with both local Belux needs and global objectives
-Building, submitting, and negotiating pricing and reimbursement files with competent authorities in Belgium and Luxembourg
-Monitoring the market access environment, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to proactively identify opportunities and risks
-Using health economic arguments and real-world evidence to support the value of Novo Nordisk products
-Representing Novo Nordisk in industry meetings, task forces, and engagements with key opinion leaders in pricing and reimbursement
-Collaborating with cross-functional brand teams across Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment
-Mentoring and advising junior Market Access Managers to build team capability

Within Novo Nordisk Belgium, you’ll join a dynamic team of 85 colleagues dedicated to making our therapies accessible across the Belux market. Reporting directly to the Associate Director Market Access Belux, you’ll play a crucial role in translating our innovative pipeline into real patient access through strategic pricing and reimbursement initiatives.

Your skills & qualifications

We’re looking for an experienced market access professional who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and can balance commercial objectives with patient access needs. You’ll bring:

-Master’s degree in sciences, public health, economics, or a similar field. At least 4 years of experience in a market access or pricing & reimbursement role within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience within Cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
-Excellent understanding of the pricing and reimbursement systems in Belgium. Experience in Luxembourg is a strong plus.
-Proven track record of successful market access initiatives, including experience setting up real-world evidence projects and managed entry agreements
-Fluent in English, Dutch and French. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to build compelling health economic arguments
-Solution-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation skills – able to create “win-win” solutions that balance Novo Nordisk priorities with stakeholder needs
-Team player with a collaborative approach and business acumen, including financial appreciation and understanding of market dynamics
