The position
As our Market Access Director at Novo Nordisk, Austria you will provide cross-functional market access and health economics input into prelaunch and launch activities of new products and indications. You will review, utilize, and generate local health economics data, to support new and existing products; ensure timely submission of price notifications and other relevant price updates as well as obtain, maintain, and expand reimbursement for NN products.
Your main accountabilities will include:
• Coordinating and performing internal and external price updates and submitting price and reimbursement applications in Austria.
• Supporting commercial efforts (including launch and brand plans) by providing appropriate analysis and insights and delivering health economic arguments to support commercial efforts.
• Leveraging RWE (real-world evidence) results across functions in collaboration with the medical department.
• Providing support to corporate/public affairs activities and bridging the gap to market access and reviewing promotional material from a Market Access perspective.
• Acting as Local Record Manager for archiving price application documentation of own submissions.
Other responsibilities include monitoring changes to legal requirements concerning the Market Access function.
Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
• Master of Science, preferably in Pharmacy or Economics.
• 10 + years of experience in the Austrian pharmaceutical industry and/or government bodies or agencies with responsibilities and tasks related to health economics or market access is crucial.
• Knowledge and understanding of pricing and reimbursement policy/environment within pharmaceuticals.
• Business mindset and insights into the local market.
• Data-driven, skilled in science and applications in the context of pricing and reimbursement.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English.

You will join the Market Access team in Austria. Our department is dedicated to creating and executing comprehensive market access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modelling activities. We work collectively with payers, including HTA, reimbursement influencers, and other decision-makers to ensure the continuous changing reimbursement systems remain fair to all involved parties.
