This role will be based in Hungary under the Market Access & Public Affairs department, and you will be reporting directly to the Market Access & Public Affairs Director.

The position

As a MAPA Manager, you will assist and support the MAPA Director in meetings Novo Nordisk (NN) Health Policy plan aiming to strengthen, develop, and influence the external environment within the healthcare industry to support market access for the Novo Nordisk portfolio, while enhancing the reputation of Novo Nordisk with external stakeholders. Moreover, you will be a key ambassador for NN and you will be responsible for interacting with key pricing and reimbursement authorities and other relevant external stakeholders, critical for NN Health policy and access agenda.

Your main accountabilities will be:

• Designing and implementing the local market access strategy such as price, reimbursement, value propositions & key messages for the Novo Nordisk portfolio in the affiliate, to obtain and/or optimize access and profitability for NN brands

• Providing Market Access support in preparation for launches of new products and MA support during the life cycle management

• Maximising business opportunities in the affiliate while implementing the global pricing and value strategy for the Novo Nordisk portfolio/in-line, as well as for new pipeline products

• Ensuring business awareness of trends in national healthcare systems and government policies

• Designing, executing, and monitoring price & reimbursement submissions to Authorities and monitoring Therapeutic Guidelines and Protocols in NN therapeutic areas, early identifying business threats, and shape the local strategy

Qualifications

As a MAPA Manager, you should be determined, goal-driven, ambitious, attentive to details, hardworking, and innovative. In addition, you need to have a University Degree in Business/Health Economics Degree. Good perception of the local pharmaceutical market.

To be effective in this role, you must have:

• Proficient level of presentation and communication skills

• Proficient in establishing, developing, and maintenance of relationships

• Minimum of 6-9 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent (with a minimum 4 years experience in Market Access

• Excel based model development experience or equivalent analytical skills

• To own a Driving license

• Solid knowledge of MS Office

• Fluent English, Hungarian
