This includes leading reimbursement applications, establishing contract frameworks and negotiating with Nordic key-decisionmakers and national/regional and buying groups. The position will manage and actively monitor regulations, rebates, and the reimbursement framework. This position will be an integral part of the Nordic cross-functional team as well as the Global MAPA team to support portfolio pricing strategy, directly contributing to cost-benefit assessment, pricing, and reimbursement negotiations with authorities.If you want a multi-dimensional 3D career in a leading healthcare organisation, join us.RequirementsSCOPE OF ROLE:As a member of the local Nordic BOMA team and together with the Head of Market Access Nordics be responsible for market access and public affairs initiatives in the Nordics.Strategic Leadership:
Develop payer engagement strategies and implement contract frameworks for national and regional buyer groups, ensuring alignment with global strategies and local market needs.

  • Market Entry and Reimbursement:

Manage processes for new product entries, manage negotiations with health authorities, and ensure successful product listings and reimbursement settings.

  • Cross-functional Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the global and regional market access teams to align on global strategies and support local implementation. Actively participate in and support local cross-functional teams with market access and public affairs input.MAIN TASKS:

  • Develop and Implement Payer Engagement Strategies:

Strategically develop and execute payer engagement plans tailored to the healthcare system, focusing on securing optimal product positioning and reimbursement. Lead negotiations with key decision-makers, national/regionalbuying groups and health authorities.

  • Manage Product Approvals and Reimbursement Negotiations:

Oversee the entire product approval and pricing process.

  • Stakeholder management:

Map and meet with relevant stakeholders; decisonmakers, payers and politicians, in the Nordics. Participate in networks and independently build relations to promote Norgine products.

  • Hospital Listing and Formulary Inclusion:

Facilitate the inclusion of new products in guidelines. Manage submissions to securefunding, customizing strategies to meet specific hospital and national/regional healthcare requirements.

  • Localise Payer Value Propositions:

Tailor global payer value propositions to align with the market’s specific needs and regulatory requirements, ensuring that communications emphasize product benefits effectively and comply with local standards.

  • Drive Local Reimbursement Activities:

Lead activities aimed at achieving reimbursement under healthcare payment systems, including evidence based negotiations for product listings.

  • Develop Local Value-Related Product Messaging:

Collaborate with the global Market Access team to develop messaging that resonates with stakeholders, aligning with market access strategies and highlighting specific outcomes and benefits that cater to local needs.

  • Monitor and Assess Regulatory and Policy Changes:

Actively monitor and evaluate changes in the healthcare policy and regulatory landscape. Analyse potential impacts on market access strategies and adjust plans accordingly to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

  • Provide Training and Support:

Design and conduct comprehensive training for internal teams, focusing on the intricacies of navigating the market access environment. Ensure thorough understanding of local regulations, reimbursement mechanisms, and negotiation techniques to enhance team capabilities and market success.Public Affairs

  • Identify gaps of and need for influence to secure Norgine products are perceived at their full potential. Plan and implement public affairs measures to inform and influence relevant stakeholders in the Nordic setting.
  • Support in management of Norgine Nordic tenders business

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At a minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in pharmaceutical national/regional market access , ideally within secondary care paediatric specialty care, oncology, or rare diseases.
  • Extensive experience in launching new products in a secondary care environment and a deep understanding of the healthcare system in Nordics with a deeper understanding of at least one country

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: * Degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences or Economics

  • Advanced degree or specific Market Access qualification is preferred
  • Skills and experience of working with health economy, epidemiology and statistics is a plus.
  • Workbased experience from Nordic health care system is a plus.

Analytical and Strategic Thinking:
Skilled in analysing complex data to develop strategic sales initiatives.

  • Leadership and Influence:

Strong leadership capabilities to motivate teams and influence key stakeholders.

  • Project Management:

Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively under pressure.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication skills essential for articulating complex information and fostering strong professional relationships.

  • Fluent in English and Native Swedish or Danish
