As our Manufacturing Supervisor you will be a key part of our Lean transformation and help us to attain operational excellence. You will be responsible for leading a team to deliver against People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost key metrics. As well as being able to execute operationally you will be able to live, breath and coach our Hologic core values (Respect, Responsibility, Trust, Integrity, Honesty, Citizenship) at every level, every day.

Knowledge and Skills

Manufacturing Operations Management:

• Leading and developing your teams to understand the context, mechanics and the delivery of People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost in a sustainable way to meet customer and stakeholder commitments, being hands on management and available for coaching and guidance.

• To ensure plan attainment and demonstrate execution of production activities to a high standard ensuring best in class.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Lean Culture:

• A Proven practitioner of lean systems, tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and industry best practices.

• Identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

• Being actively involved in problem-solving using analytical skills and a ‘Go to the Gemba’ approach, with the discipline to make data-driven decisions.

Leadership:

• Holding team members accountable for embodying the Hologic values; using honesty when appraising and managing individuals’ performance whilst supporting and coaching individuals to close performance gaps.

• Creating a positive and inclusive work environment, which enhances employee engagement and implementing strategies to promote staff growth and development.

• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead by example and inspire a team while coaching them to meet their goals.

The shift pattern for this role is: 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00 on alternate weeks.
