This role in summary

• Lead material handling strategy, layout, inside footprint, NPI projects and factory master plan, ensuring World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles & methodology are embedded into the Production System.

• Meet our customer needs, delivering the right material to the right place at the right time and at the right quantity, with the lowest possible cost. Always keeping as premise our Safety, Quality Cost & Delivery Business KPI’s

• WCM Logistic & Consumer Service (LCS) Pillar Leader central organization, Operations Excellence.

• Execute standard LCS strategy deployment throughout Whirlpool EMEA in accordance with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles. Work as coordinator on LCS Pillar, developing and communicating Pillar methods and standards across the region, training as well factory teams on LCS Pillar methodology and tools.

Your responsibilities will include

Material Flow and Layout (New Products Industrialization, Manufacturing strategic initiatives

• Manufacturing Solution Integrator from Supply Base to Customer, working tight with WO on Process solutions through Systems, Processes & People Development.

• Drive/Support Design logistic flow and factory layout with WCM principles practices embedment for NPIs and key product strategic projects (Factory Capacity increase, Factory Master Plan projects and Footprint relocation).

• Improve Indirect cost efficiency (logistic).

Packaging Strategy

Coordinate EMEA components Packaging strategy and assures compliance of packaging cards for new projects

WCM logistic (LCS) Pillar Leader

• Set-up the knowledge/action priorities for LCS pillar driven by the business leaders

• Act as Subject Matter Expert in developing Pillar Route Map, methodological standards, Best Practices and Training.

• Create standards for LCS pillar methodology

• Coordinate Pillar workshops for the LCS pillar.

• Foster the networking of SMEs of the pillar across the EMEA region.

Minimum requirements

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing logistic processes and internal logistic flow, proven similar experience in the role 5+ years of experience

• Logistic and Customer Service (LCS) pillar, Strong knowledge

• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (WCM)

• Proficiency in English

• Availability to travel, must be willing to travel with some international travel

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

Preferred skills and experiences

• Education, Engineering degree preference for Industrial Engineering/logistic

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail while keeping the global view
