Manufacturing Operator in Daventry, United Kingdom

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Operator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry,UK .

This is up to a 24-month Temporary contract, with a possible opportunity to transfer onto a permanent contract.

Working 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Will need to be fully flexible to work across the following shift patterns:   Mornings 07:00am to 3.00pm / Afternoons 3.00pm to 11.00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday finish 10.30pm/ Nights 11.00pm to 7.00am Sunday to Thursday.

• Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*To be successful in this role you will need the following: *

• Previous experience in operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts is essential.

• Successful candidates will possess the ability to understand instruction and work under their own initiative within the recognised process, with a good level of numeracy and literacy.

• They will be PC or Handheld Terminal literate with a good appreciation of quality standards and health and safety requirements.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, automotive or engineering is desirable but training will be given.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

• CNC or Production Exp required.
