We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the industrialization activities of the production processes of the assigned area. In this role you will take full responsibility for the assigned hardware, developing the production plan and/or optimizing the existing one, to achieve the required objectives in terms of process feasibility and robustness, product quality, product cost and capacity support. You will also analyze the quality KPIs for the assigned Part Number improvement plan.This position is preferably intended for candidates belonging to Legally Protected Status with certification as beneficiary of Law 68/99, Article 1.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesSupport concurrent engineering activities with designers and/or the clientDefine the equipment/router design activity between external suppliers and Avio Aero Manufacturing EngineeringGuide equipment suppliers through all phases from concept to functional testing and validationManage design and process reviews, to monitor the status of the industrialization/improvement plan for the assigned P/NSupport operational staff during the production of the first batchManage technical validation according to internal proceduresIdentify the process optimization to be implementedSupport Customer Quality Engineering for the reporting of anomalies sent to the Customer and support the Customer’s review of the proposed improvement plan.Bring new ideas and positive support to the current processDevelop and consolidate best practices and standards for manufacturingQualifications/RequirementsMaster’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace EngineeringFluent knowledge of English and ItalianAbility to read technical drawingsKnowledge of mechanical processesFactory attitudeWork visa in accordance with local regulationsDesired CharacteristicsStrong analytical skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong oral and written communication skillsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
