An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual who would like to join a progressing company. This role is based within an established Production department; therefore, a strong team player attitude is essential.
Summary of Job:
* To undertake machining duties, as required, in accordance with the company quality standards and best engineering working practices
* To undertake activities in a timely and efficient manner in order to maintain company contractual delivery requirements
* To assist, where required, in peripheral activities, e.g., assembly, packing, etc
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* Must be experienced using machinery such as vertical/horizontal borers, lathes and drilling machines
* Maths and English GCSE grade 4/5 (equivalent grade C equivalent) is preferable but not essential

Hours of work
Works hours enable flexitime working, covering a 40 hour week. Flexible start and finish times are available with core hours which must be covered each day. Monday to Thursday covers an 8.5 hour shift with half an hour unpaid lunch break and a ten minute paid break in the morning and afternoon, Friday covers a 6 hour shift with no lunch break but does include a twenty minute paid break. Overtime is available dependent upon workload, further details will be given at interview stage.
