Job Description:There is a phenomenal opportunity to join Emerson’s Marine Solutions business as Managing Director and General Manager of Damcos A/S and have a substantial and impactful role to develop and implement our strategic direction for Marine Solutions across EU, Americas and IMEA.Reporting to the Vice President & GM of the business unit, you will be responsible for all operations, including manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, sales, finance, and human resources functions. You will also coordinate the development and implementation of operational strategy and processes for our Naestved facility, to achieve targets for profitability and performance metrics. These include asset management, quality, employee safety, customer satisfaction, and other key measures.If you are a passionate people manager, able to establish excellent collaboration within the different facets of a complex organization and to lead your team to achieve phenomenal results, we encourage you to apply and join the team in Naestved, Denmark!In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure the local leadership team feels empowered and able to deliver on their commitments, be a strong resource leader
• Develop and implement tactical plans for your responsibility area and support the overall Marine Solutions business strategy implementation.
• Maintain and build new customer relations, and be visible within industry on various platforms
• Strengthen strategic accounts and support sales leaders to ensure excellent customer focus
• Ensure efficient operational leadership for the site, and drive significant improvements in customer service levels and supply chain lead times
• Lead the development of annual and monthly financial plans, budgets, and operating reports
• Assure proper maintenance, housekeeping, safety and environmental compliance
• Partner with other world area leaders and work closer with the wider Emerson organization

• Marine industry background with at least 5 years of general management experience within multicultural environments
• High level and global stakeholder management experience
• Strong technical and commercial acumen
• Good understanding of key financial / management data
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, formed through experience in collaborating optimally across functions and levels.
• Fluency in Danish and English languages
• Willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of any other Scandinavian language
