Please note: Agency acquisition to this vacancy is not appreciated.The Manager Quality Assurance Operations is responsible for the quality aspects of day to day activities that make part of the overall operations of Wacker Biotech B.V. He/she works in close relationship with the other operational Managers to assure the business continuity and that the commitments with the clients are fulfilled in a timely manner and according to the quality standards.The Manager Quality Assurance Operations reports to the Head of Quality Assurance.Job responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Quality Assurance Operations team (10-15 people);
  • Keep quality oversight of all operational activities performed at the site and report in local management meetings;
  • Act as the focal point for quality issues and resolution;
  • Assure the timely review and disposition of batches according to planning;
  • Must have strong ability to critically review investigations, interpret results and generate conclusions regarding product and/or facility impact;
  • Must be skilled in planning and organizing, decision-making, and building relationships;
  • Knowledge of quality processes, including deviations, investigations, CAPA and change control;
  • Deputy to the Head of Quality Assurance.

Qualifications required:

  • To fulfil this broad function, Wacker Biotech BV is looking for a person with strong organizational skills, who can keep track of a wide variety of activities;
  • HBO/University degree in pharmacy, medical biology, biochemistry, or biotechnology;
  • A minimum of 7 years of work experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years of management experience;
  • Strong in coaching personnel with different educational levels;
  • Must be action-oriented and skilled in decision-making, building relationships, problem solving, conflict management, planning and organizing and resource allocation;
  • You reside in and are eligible to work in The Netherlands (valid work permit).
