The position
As Manager, you will be leading a team of approx. 8 people and together with the team you have the responsibility to drive the investment- governance and process for the Senior Vice President (SVP) area called External Supply (ES) anchored in the Product Supply division. Your job is to ensure high engagement and wellbeing in the team and at the same time ensure high-quality outcomes, effective governance, and reliable investment budgets for the SVP area.
You will be expected to identify and drive continuous optimizations of our processes and how we support the business in the best possible way. You build and sustain a network both across the ES organization and across the Product Supply organization. Furthermore, you and the team will prepare business cases, various analyses, and recommendations to support decision-making.
This further include:
-Driving the monthly SVP Project Portfolio Governance meetings and ensure quality and timeline pre-reads, meetings minutes, etc.
-Ensuring smooth CAPEX budget process and a simple yet compelling storyline for effective communication of the budget
-Performing effective month-end closing activities and management reporting of investment speed & portfolio performance
-Driving strategic initiatives and continuous improvement together with the team to ensure effective and efficient governance, process and outcomes
-Coaching and developing people with a focus on ensuring continuous high wellbeing and engagement of the team
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe you:
-Hold a relevant master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or another relevant field
-Possess a minimum of +5 years’ experience with a proven track record in either financial management or CAPEX project management
-Demonstrate authentic leadership skills, easily building trust with people, either as your first leadership position or with a desire to broaden your profile
-Showcase strong stakeholders management abilities, acting as a trusted business partner, along with strong communication and presentation skills
-Display fluency in both written and spoken English
Project controlling experience is considered an advantage.
As a person, you are structured and analytical, yet you can effectively drive meetings and build trust with stakeholders. You enjoy motivating, inspiring, and developing people in your team and you have a genuine interest in what is good leadership. You can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while keeping track of the overall team and direction. Lastly, you have excellent communication skills and can easily interact with people at all levels in the organization and you can manage flexible workloads and thrive when working under pressure.
About the department
The Investment Management team is a part of the department ES Finance department that consistent of approx. 27-30 people split into three teams which are: Investment management, Business Finance and Production Finance.
The department is very international with people from 11 different nationalities and as a team we are ambitious, experienced, have a desire to make each other shine and we care for each other. The Finance department is anchored within the ES Business Support that also covers Strategy, Executive Support, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence and IT.
