You will be leading a team of approx. 6 people and together with the team you have the responsibility to drive the investment- governance and process for the SVP area called Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM) anchored in the Product Supply division. Your job is to ensure high engagement and wellbeing in the team and at the same time ensure high-quality outcomes, effective governance, and reliable investment budgets for the SVP area.You will be expected to identify and drive continuous optimisations of our processes and how we support the business in the best possible way. You will build and sustain a network both across the FPM organisation and across the Product Supply organisation. Furthermore, you and the team will prepare business cases, various analyses, and recommendations to support decision-making.Your main responsibilities will be focused on:

  • Driving the SVP Project Portfolio Governance meetings incl. ensure high quality and timely pre-reads, meeting actions, etc
  • Ensuring smooth CAPEX budget process and a simple yet compelling storyline for effective communication of the budget
  • Effective month-end closing activities and management reporting of investment spend & portfolio performance
  • Driving strategic initiatives and continuous improvement together with the team to ensure effective and efficient governance, process and outcomes

You have a natural interest in coaching and developing people with a focus on ensuring continuous high wellbeing and engagement of the team.Qualification
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

  • A relevant master’s degree e.g. Engineering, Finance, Economics etc. and a minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in either financial management or CAPEX project management. Project controlling experience is considered an advantage
  • Authentic leadership skills to build trust with people. It might be your first leadership position, or you might have several years of experience but with a desire to broaden your profile
  • Skills to be a trusted business partner and a desire to support the business while building trust with your stakeholders
  • Professional proficiency in English

As a person, you are structured and analytical, yet you can effectively drive meetings and build trust with stakeholders. You enjoy motivating, inspiring, and developing people in your team and you have a genuine interest in what is good leadership.You can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while keeping track of the overall team and direction. Lastly, you have excellent communication skills and can easily interact with people at all levels in the organization and you can manage flexible workloads and thrive when working under pressure.About the department
The Investment Management team is a part of the FPM Finance department that consistent of approx. 20 people split into three teams which are: Investment Management, Business Finance and Production Finance. The department is diverse with people from different nationalities and as a team we are ambitious, experienced, have a desire to make each other shine and we care for each other. The Finance department is anchored within the FPM Business Development & Support that also covers Supply Chain & Manufacturing Strategy, Sustainability & Operational Excellence, and Digitalisation & Performance Management.Working at Novo Nordisk
