The position
As a Manager in Manufacturing, Science & Technology (MSAT) you will play a crucial role in ensuring API MSAT prioritizations and strategies are embedded within your team. You will set clear, tangible goals and manage your team in supporting various processes for our APIs, including raw materials, cleaning, virus safety, and microbiology. The role is located in Bagsværd, reporting to the Vice President, API PS MSAT Manufacturing Support.

The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, with a focus on stakeholder management, innovation and excellence. You can look forward to:
•    Strategic Alignment: Ensure API MSAT prioritizations and strategies are followed and embedded in your team.
•    Operational Management: Support the team in daily tasks such as establishing standards for documentation and qualification, providing input for troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
•    Team Leadership: Lead and develop the team, which currently consists of 14 members, driving and supporting the team through the transformation into a unified unit.
•    Stakeholder Management: Support and develop stakeholder management in the team and manage relationships with stakeholders and leaders at different levels. The team is working cross organizationally at different locations.

Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. However, if the following aspects resonate with you, then you may be the ideal candidate we are seeking:

•    A relevant degree in natural sciences, engineering, or a related field.
•    Several years of experience leading teams, preferably within science-based teams.
•    Experience with standards in a regulated industry such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
•    Strong people skills, with the ability to inspire and energize your surroundings, set clear and ambitious goals, and lead with empathy
•    Proficiency in English.

As a person, you possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a multicultural environment. You can handle high pressure and conflicting interests with good self-management of stress. You are naturally positive, seeking opportunities for personal development through dialogue and sparring with colleagues and managers. Your ability to motivate and engage stakeholders and develop cooperation skills will be crucial for success in this role.

About the department
The department is responsible for a variety of supporting processes and activities essential for the manufacturing of Drug Substances. It consists of experienced specialists, professionals, and laboratory technicians, organized into three teams located in Gentofte and Bagsværd. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative, emphasizing stakeholder management, innovation, and excellence.
