We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our Christchurch Team!
The Curtiss-Wright HR team in Christchurch operate as a Shared Service across 3 Divisions, supporting around 570 employees, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, organised and professional Human Resources Manager to join the team at our state-of-the-art facility by Bournemouth Airport. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, this position is responsible for providing a full range of human resources management and generalist support to 300 employees in Christchurch, Dorset. Your Challenge:
Provide HR generalist support in the areas of recruitment, compensation, policy implementation, talent management, performance management, training and development, change management and employee relations.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Provide professional advice and guidance to Directors, managers and employees in regard to all people related matters
Interpret and implement Corporate and site-wide HR policies and procedures and ensure the company is acting in full compliance with all company policies and procedures and employment law.
Work closely with local management to ensure all HR related goals and objectives are met.
Manage employee and HR-related communications
Provide advice and direction with regard to employee relations issues
Prepare and deliver various routine and customized reports and presentations and HR metrics
Work closely with management to create and foster a positive, high performance work environment.
Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
Manage 2 members of the HR Team
What You Bring:
Experienced and innovative HR Professional, educated to degree level and Level 7 CIPD qualified.
HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or related industry.
People oriented and approachable
Results driven and demonstrable experience with HR metrics
Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and make decisions in a fair, consistent impartial and unbiased manner.
Works well independently and as a member of a cohesive team.
Excellent interpersonal skills able to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Strong communication skills.
Workday (Human Capital Management System) knowledge another definite plus.
