Apply now and join us!The PositionWe have an open position for Manager for IT and automation supporting the project area as process, facility and warehouse, within the areas such as MES and DCS systems.As associate manager for our It/Automation team driving the 25L PS API Expansion project when finished, you will be part of the management team leading the future PS API facility. The main responsibility is to hire, build and train the organization needed to establish the new PS API capacity.The project will be placed in Hillerød and during the project execution your team will be integrated at the project team, with purpose to building the new PS API facility. Your work is guided by our purpose in Product Supply: To be on the forefront of technology of manufacturing and aiming at continuous, automated and state of the art facility.You will be reporting to the Director of the future PS API facility and work in close collaboration with other managers in the PS API organization.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you have:

  • A background in engineering, automation or other relevant fields for this position, preferably an academical background as master’s or bachelor’s degree.
  • +5 years of experience working in IT/Automation within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Extensive experience in collaborating with different stakeholders and creating strong relationships across organization.
  • Experience working as a manager leading a team is an advantage.
  • Experience working with greenfield projects is preferable.
  • Full proficiency in oral and written English. Danish is a strong advantage.

Join us at 25L PS API Expansion and become a part of one of Novo Nordisk’s most significant expansion projects, embedded in Product Supply API. We are building a new API production facility in Hillerød that will employ around 340 colleagues. The highly automated production facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring an important level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. It will also expand our portfolio of clinical late phase products and increase our capacity to serve more people living with rare and serious chronic diseases.Working at API Expansion, Novo Nordisk
