Join us as a Manager for our Automation and Robotics team in Technology and Innovation.The position
As a Manager for Technology and Innovation Automation and Robotics, you will lead our team of automation and robotics engineers and specialists to deliver innovative automation and robotics solutions for current and future aseptic manufacturing facilities. You will take part in our cross functional leadership team, where we strive to create an innovative and inspiring environment.Your key responsibilities will include:Develop and execute a strategy for automation and robotics in Technology and Innovation.Lead and inspire your team of app. 10 automation and robotics engineers and specialists, while planning and following up on their competence development.Interact with key stakeholders in our development and production network.Plan and prioritize work and resources while creating an inspiring and inclusive innovation environment and culture.Contribute to the department’s leadership and strategic development.Participate in networking activities within and beyond Novo Nordisk.In this role, you can expect to travel up to 20 days per year.Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:At least 5 years of experience with automation and robotics, preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing combined with experience leading people or projects.An academic degree within a relevant technical field.A global and innovate mindset with ability to think out of the box.Ability to collaborate with people with diverse backgrounds and skills.Good communication skills and professional proficiency in English.On a personal level, you are ambitious and a dedicated team player who inspires trust among colleagues and stakeholders. In the Aseptic Manufacturing, Technology and Innovation, Engineering, we drive innovation and develop technologies to prepare Novo Nordisk Aseptic Manufacturing for the future. We scale our production to serve more patients through a compliant and efficient production network on the forefront of technology.We are responsible for development of equipment and systems from ideation until the first successful pilot implementation. Our skills include aseptic manufacturing and process expertise, mechanical design, automation, robotics, modelling, simulation, and equipment validation. We are responsible for a Development Test Center in Kalundborg and an Innovation lab in Bagsværd. Out team currently counts app. 50 employees plus students and consultants. We are an engaged, diverse, and international team working primarily from our offices in Bagsværd, Gentofte and Kalundborg.Working at Novo Nordisk
